Timeless Bathroom Design Transformation
Neutral colours never go out of style, but when it comes to bathrooms, a refreshing and timeless space is key, which is what we aimed to achieve in our recent project! We undertook the challenge of redesigning our client's main bathroom and ensuite, replacing a beige colour pallet with a new tailored design that not only reflected their lifestyle and taste, but also maximised functionality!
Before getting down and dirty with it, we had a few hurdles to leap. The property was part of a large unit complex, so our clients had to seek approval from the body corporate. However, this isn’t our first unit rodeo, so we worked closely with our clients to devise a plan that worked for all parties involved. The next challenge was coordinating a start date that aligned with our client's schedules, as they were in the process of moving out of the home. Juggling multiple projects can be tricky, but we managed to find a solution that suited everyone, and we were able to begin the exciting part…the transformation!
Both the main bathroom and ensuite were stripped down to create a blank canvas for our team to work with.
We replaced the old flooring with stunning grey marble-look floor tiles sourced from Beaumont Tiles, also the star attraction as a striking feature wall tile. Our clients decided on a white tile in a gloss finish as the star contender on the remaining walls, perfectly complementing the overall aesthetic! And what is a bathroom if it doesn’t have storage? To meet this need, we installed a free-standing vanity in a sleek matte black finish, complete with generous storage space below.
Adding extra flair to the room, all fixtures and fittings followed suit with the matte black theme, which created a sophisticated and moody aesthetic, without failing to feel luxurious at the same time.
And voilà! The result is a fresh and improved bathroom space that truly stands out! Our clients were after a modernised ensuite, and bathroom tailored to their specific style and needs…and they were thrilled with the result and couldn’t be happier!
