Our clients approached us with a dream of transforming their beloved family home into their forever home. Utilising our comprehensive Design, Plan, Construct process, we embarked on a remarkable journey to bring their vision to life.
One of the key elements of the renovation was the extension of the family room, designed to create additional space and seamlessly blend the indoor and outdoor areas. By carefully integrating the outdoor space, we established an outdoor/indoor area that would serve as a versatile and inviting space for the family to enjoy. The extension was thoughtfully planned to enhance the overall layout and flow of the home, ensuring that every inch of space was optimised for both comfort and functionality.
In addition to the extension, we dedicated our attention to modifying and renovating the existing spaces, including the laundry, kitchen, and bedrooms. Our team meticulously analysed each area, considering both aesthetics and practicality to ensure that the spaces aligned with our clients' vision for their forever home.
Among the notable features of this transformation are the double skylights installed into the rake ceiling. These skylights flood the interior with natural light, creating an open and airy atmosphere that invites a sense of serenity. The removal of ceramic tiles and the polishing of the concrete floors offer a sleek and modern touch, while also contributing to a sense of continuity and ease of maintenance. Recycled brick feature walls add texture and character, infusing the home with a unique and timeless appeal. Custom-made barn doors serve as both a functional and stylish element, offering privacy and a touch of rustic charm. Finally, a large, raked window was strategically placed to maximise the intake of natural light, illuminating the interior spaces, and connecting them with the beauty of the surrounding environment.
