When a young couple expecting twins approached us to renovate their home, we were thrilled to help create the perfect nest for their growing family. This comprehensive project touched every corner of their house, transforming it into an open, light-filled haven.
The heart of the renovation was the kitchen and living area. Replacing walls with sturdy beams created a seamless, open-plan space flooded with natural light. The kitchen became a showstopper with mixed pattern blue and white tiles and elegant gold metal accents. An innovative island bench with an integrated ventilation cooktop eliminated the need for a bulky exhaust, enhancing the clean, open feel.
Throughout the house, we installed new doors and replaced dated terracotta tiles with sleek hybrid flooring. The cabinetry got a chic upgrade, while Smartstone benchtops added a feel of luxury and durability.
The main bathroom was completely reimagined, with the old walls removed to create a spacious oasis. To connect the interior with the beautiful surroundings of Burleigh, we installed gorgeous bi-fold doors and windows. The outdoor area wasn't forgotten either – new glass pool fencing adds a modern touch while ensuring safety for the future toddlers.
We worked closely with the couple to incorporate their personal touches, including the crystal pendant lights they provided, which became sparkling focal points in the space. From bespoke double cupboard doors to a freshened-up master bedroom, every detail was carefully considered and executed.
The renovation extended to the laundry, ensuite, and dining room. We opened up the outside area, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor flow. The new layout eliminated the closed floor plan, banishing the beige cabinetry and ushering in a fresh, modern aesthetic.
